Bishkek Health University welcomed more than 700 prospective students and their families to its Spring Open Day — the largest such event in the university's history. The event offered tours of BHU's main campus, clinical simulation center, library and student common areas.
Attendees had the opportunity to speak directly with faculty members, current students and admissions counselors. Representatives from every academic department were present to discuss program requirements, career paths and the unique advantages of studying healthcare at BHU.
The BHU simulation center — one of the most advanced in Central Asia — drew particular interest, with hands-on demonstrations of high-fidelity patient simulators, laparoscopic surgery trainers and diagnostic imaging equipment.
"Events like Open Day remind us why we do this work," said Vice Rector for Student Affairs Dr. Gulnara Bekova. "Seeing hundreds of young people excited about healthcare, about science, about serving their communities — that is what drives everything we do here."
The next Open Day is scheduled for late September. Prospective students can register through the BHU admissions portal or by contacting the Admissions Office directly.
