Bishkek Health University offers some of the most affordable tuition rates in Central Asia, while maintaining the highest academic standards. The following rates are for the 2025–2026 academic year and are subject to annual review.

Types of Financial Aid

BHU offers multiple forms of financial assistance to help students fund their education. Below is an overview of the types of aid available.

• Government Grants

  Non-repayable funding from the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education allocated through national competition.

• University Scholarships

  Merit and need-based scholarships funded directly by Bishkek Health University.

• Private & Donor Scholarships

  Awards from partner hospitals, NGOs and individual donors supporting healthcare education.

• Student Loans

  Low-interest loans available through BHU partner financial institutions in Kyrgyzstan.

• Work-Study Programs

  Part-time employment opportunities on-campus and at partner clinical sites for eligible students.

• International Aid Programs

  Grants and scholarships from international bodies including WHO, Aga Khan Foundation and DAAD.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Get the specifics on all of the necessary steps to apply for financial aid at BHU.

1. 1Complete your BHU admissions application and receive your acceptance letter.
2. 2Download and complete the BHU Financial Aid Application Form from the Student Portal.
3. 3Submit required documentation: proof of identity, family income statement and academic records.
4. 4Meet with a Financial Aid Counselor to review your application and explore all available options.
5. 5Receive your Financial Aid Award Letter outlining your package for the academic year.
6. 6Accept your award and complete any outstanding requirements before your start date.

Scholarship Opportunities

We are committed to investing in future healthcare professionals. We offer several merit-based scholarships to first-year students, and returning students have the opportunity to apply for our endowed scholarships every Fall trimester.

Military & Veterans Aid

As a proud supporter of military service members and veterans, Bishkek Health University offers dedicated financial aid options and support services.
